My Approach to Psychology
As a nationally certified school psychologist in private practice, I offer a client-centered, collaborative approach to care, focusing on understanding behavior and providing clear, empowering answers. My work affirms individuals and families, helping them navigate differences in development in areas like learning, self-regulation, and everyday functioning. Who is Lawson?
That would be me! Some of my graduate students dropped the “doctor” and called me “Lawson,” and I came to like it. You can read more about me on the About page, but for now I will hit the highlights. My days are full. I am a mom of three. I love being a parent and very much enjoy the work I do too! I have worked with children since I was a kid, and do not plan on ever stopping. I am a warm, approachable, passionate person who takes the scary and intimidating out of testing!
